No cookies, no tracking
Bookar does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or any analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Nothing is stored to follow you across other apps or websites.
What the app stores on your device
Only items that are strictly necessary for features you use:
- Sign-in session, so you stay signed in (removed when you sign out).
- Your settings: light or dark mode, distance unit and booking-reminder preference.
- The grounds you saved with the heart button (kept per account; removed if you delete your account).
- Your in-app notification history and which notifications you have read (removed when you sign out).
- Copies of venue photos, so they load faster and use less data.
- Scheduled booking reminders, held by your phone's notification system.
On the web version these are kept in your browser's local storage in the same way. Because everything listed is needed for the app to work, it is not used for anything else and no consent banner is needed. If we ever add optional analytics or similar tools, we will ask for your permission first and update this policy.
How to clear it
Sign out to remove your session and notification history, or clear the app's storage (or uninstall it) in your phone's settings to remove everything.
